Upon graduation from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1982 with J.D., M.B.A and B.B.A degrees in hand, John joined the Frasco firm as an associate attorney. Practicing extensively in the areas of labor relations and contract negotiations, John soon became involved in running the day-to-day business of one of the firm’s clients, Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc. A partner in the firm and a veteran of the motorsports industry, Brian is intricately involved in all aspects of SMN including its talent representation and business management practice as well as corporate partnership development. Having initially joined SMN in 2002, Brian’s focus is primarily on new revenue generation for the firm’s individual, team, and property clients through driving contracts, commercial partnerships, endorsements, personal service agreements, and other income-producing business opportunities. Tony previously worked for SMN from 2011-2012, where he led sponsorship acquisition and activation efforts for Brad Keselowski and Brad Keselowski Racing. An integral part of the SMN team since its inception in 1989, Sev’s responsibilities are several and varied. These responsibilities include managing and implementing the day-to-day financial and accounting functions for the company, overseeing all human relations activity, designing the layout and operation flow of the SMN offices and serving as part of SMN’s management advisory team. Patrick joined SMN in 2023 and serves as Manager of Business Insights. In his role, Patrick supports our Corporate Partnership Development Team by identifying emerging sponsorship opportunities, conducting market research, and delivering business strategy insights for the firm’s team, property, and individual clients. Prior to joining SMN, Patrick was a Senior Account Manager for Pulse Marketing. For 10 years, he was responsible for managing key client accounts in the Automotive, Financial Services and Cyber-Physical Security industries. Business Insights
Jess joined SMN’s creative department as a Multi-media Designer in 2016. Jess assists in the creation of client marketing collateral, presentations and proposals, website design and management, and managing content for digital and social media. Previously, Jess worked with J Ryder Group, a golf marketing and sponsorship agency, assisting in creating and developing graphics for various sponsorship packages and other charity golf event services. Jess graduated from Lawrence Technological University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

Joining the firm in August 2021, Ryan is focused on building lasting and successful partnerships for the firm’s team, property, and individual clients through commercial sponsorships and endorsements. Prior to SMN, Ryan was the Assistant Athletic Director of Sponsorship at Indiana State University. In this role, Ryan was responsible for securing all partnership revenue and overseeing all partnership activation for the university’s athletic department. Ryan joins SMN with previous motorsports experience. Ryan held positions at Dover International Speedway and Michigan International Speedway. Kathleen received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Michigan State University. After graduation, she worked in marketing for several high-profile companies providing graphical design expertise to growing businesses in Detroit. With all of the knowledge gained from her previous jobs, Kathleen launched her own graphic and web design studio. She has joined the Sports Management Network team to aid in the creation of marketing and design materials for the firm’s clients, as well as the firm itself.
