About Us

Tyler Kring joined SMN in 2023 and serves as Manager of Corporate Partnerships. In his role, Kring is focused on building lasting and successful partnerships for the firm’s team, property, and individual clients through commercial sponsorships and endorsements.

Kring enters the motorsports world after eleven years in Minor League Baseball with the Great Lakes Loons, the High-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, in Midland, Michigan. He most recently served as Assistant General Manager – Business Development for the Loons where he oversaw the corporate business sales efforts locally, as well as national partnerships through Major League Baseball, guided the entertainment and promotions team, worked with community stakeholders on engagement opportunities, and handled all marketing and media relations for the team.

While at the Loons, Kring served as Co-Chair of the Household Stability Community Impact Panel for United Way of Midland County, a Community Advisory Panel Member for Corteva Agriscience, and a Scholarship Committee Volunteer for the Midland Area Community Foundation.

Kring holds a Master’s of Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s in Sport Management with a minor in Marketing from the University of Michigan.

A native of Cadillac, Michigan, Kring resides in Auburn, Michigan with his wife, Ashley, and their cat, Ophelia.
