RANGE LEATHER CO. TEAMS UP WITH NASCAR CHAMPION RYAN BLANEY

LARAMIE, WY (February 14, 2024) – Range Leather Co. (“Range”) announced today that it has entered into a personal services agreement with 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Ryan Blaney. Founded by husband and wife Kyle and Bailey Koster, Range leather goods and leather patch hats are handcrafted in the company’s Laramie, Wyoming workshop. With full grain leather sourced from the 119-year old, fifth generation Horween Tannery in Chicago, Illinois, Range products are crafted with age-old techniques. Every Range product is guaranteed forever.

“Range is an ideal lifestyle partner,” said Blaney. “Really, it starts with Kyle and Bailey. They are great people who had an idea and have grown their business from a living room table to their building in downtown Laramie with a team of crafters. I appreciate the quality of their leather goods, that, as they said, they wanted to offer products at price points their friends could afford, and that they stand behind their products with a forever guarantee. It will be a lot of fun collaborating with the Range team.”

“This is our first ambassador program so it was super important that we align ourselves with the right partner,” said Kyle Koster. “We sought to work with someone who is values-based and also an elite performer. Having spent time with Ryan, and with him being the defending NASCAR champion, there is no question that he is exactly that. And then when you look at his lifestyle, there is clearly a genuine connection with Range. I would also say that we were drawn to the sport of NASCAR given our belief that working with your hands is a respectable trade, so that’s what we do and that’s what Ryan and the NASCAR team members do.”

Through its partnership with Blaney, Range also finalized a licensing arrangement with Team Penske and is exploring other licensing programs within the sport. The licenses will enable Range to create a variety of products featuring not only Blaney and his personal marks, but also the intellectual property of Team Penske.

“Beyond our existing portfolio, we will be growing our product line to offer men’s bags and other items, as well as working with Ryan on race-lifestyle products featuring his marks and those of his team,” added Bailey Koster. “We are excited about connecting with the passionate NASCAR fanbase and very much looking forward to working with Ryan as a face and voice for Range.”
