Director of Business Development
Having joined the firm in March of 2021, Josh is focused on sponsorship sales and strategy for SMN’s property rightsholders, along with new business development within the firm’s corporate consultation practice. Additionally, Josh is involved in the acquisition and servicing of endorsements and personal service agreements for SMN’s individual clients.
Prior to SMN, Josh was on the Global Brand Partnerships team at Electronic Arts and EA Sports, leading the sales and strategy efforts for cross-platform, scalable solutions, and custom integrations, as well as experiences that include retail partnerships and competitive gaming sponsorships.
Josh was also the Associate Director of Business Development for the United States Olympic Committee. He was directly responsible for revenue generation of all the USOC’s marketing assets, related to new and existing sponsorships. Additionally, Josh assisted with National Governing Bodies’ sales efforts, that included the development of integrated marketing platforms, activations and content distribution.
Josh has more than a decade of commercial business development experience within the sports marketing industry. In addition to his marketing and sponsorship experience with the USOC and EA, Josh was the Director of Strategic Content Partnerships at XOS Digital, and worked at the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Celtics.
Josh has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Bowling Green State University, as well as a Master of Science in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University.
